Definition of the Seaborgium Element
A short-lived radioactive
element that is artificially produced. Its chemistry resembles
that of tungsten. Other Names: Unnilhexium (Unh)
Origin / Meaning of the name Seaborgium
The element was named in honour of the American chemist Glenn
T. Seaborg an American nuclear physicist and Nobel prize winner,
who discovered many of the transuranium elements.
